How it works

The most useful word first

We counted 624 million words of film and TV dialogue in European Portuguese and ranked them. The app teaches them in that order, most-used first.

  1. Flip a card

    The Portuguese word first. Say what it means, then flip for the meaning and a natural example sentence.

  2. Rate it

    Again or Got it. Spaced repetition schedules every review for the day you're about to forget it.

  3. Check what stuck

    A quick test after each set of 10 words, and a ring badge that shows how much you now recognise.
